Hello!

I’m Todd, but I’m probably better known by my tag Axis. Most people know me from organizing Smash events either online or in my home state of New Jersey, but I’ve also done a variety of other things in the Smash community over the years—from competing to making content to commentating. Since May 2017 most of my free time has gone to playing or watching Melee in some capacity, and I’ve been an active tournament organizer since May 2018.

I still help with local and regional tournaments whenever I can, but college has made it difficult to host my own events. However, you can normally still find me competing at various NJ tournaments losing to one of the 30 PR level players in the state.

This website will mostly be used for personal blog posts about whatever topic I feel like rambling about and longer, more polished articles that’ll likely relate to gaming in some way. I’ve also uploaded some of my previous work from over the years, although the subject and medium for these are quite varied.

If you’d like to see more of what I do, I have a Twitter that I use quite often. I also stream on Twitch on rare occasions and have a YouTube, although I have no plans for the latter.
